You will be asked to supply credit card information to have on file when you schedule your appointment or at your appointment. You will not be charged at that time. Charges will occur at the time of your intake/assessment appointment. After that time, you can elect to pay with credit card, debit card, check, cash, or Zelle. You will have to check with your FSA/HSA carrier to verify if they will allow reimbursement.
We will not bill your insurance but it may be used to cover the cost of medications, labs, and referrals.
Tahira Health, Wellness and Weight loss does not accept insurance or generate super bills for insurance reimbursement, I also cannot serve people who are enrolled with Medicare or Medicaid at this time.

Appointments are vital to address your progress and also research shows that patients who do well are the ones who have routine appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule a medication management session, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This allows me to offer this time to someone else if needed.
After first appointment in clinic, the follow ups can be scheduled as a virtual visit.
Unfortunately, due to current Medicare rules and regulations, we are unable to provide services to patients enrolled in Medicare at this time.
No, your medications are not covered by your visit fee. Any prescriptions written be sent to your pharmacy where you will pick them up and pay any balance not covered by your prescription insurance. Your visit fees include the counseling and detailed guidance regarding your diet and exercise plan.
